I purchased these in hopes they could replace my worn out woddies and they did just that. I like them better for pull-ups and muscle ups but they don't offer much wrist support for lifting... best I've seen for the money and I'm very happy with mine
lets just say I threw them in the garbage after my first workout with them

These are exactly what I wanted and the only thing keeping me from giving a five star rating is the fact the finger holes are too big for my fingers, therefore I still experience "bunching" at the palms during pull-ups which is what I was trying to get away from with a traditional glove.

I've used them for toes to bar and pull-ups and they have protected my hands well. I saw another review which commented that the grip was slippery. There are two "sides." A smooth leather and a suede-ish side. Based on the position of the logo, the suede side goes out and grips quite well. Additionally, this limits how much sweat will be absorbed.
