I would say that it is hard to read the letters correctly for orientation, but that has more to do with my eyesight than the device itself.
I would say before using, mark the bottom side of each item to ensure you can orient correctly before tapping.

I love the product at this price point. I have other stamps that I like a bit better based on two things.
1. More angular edges. Helps to make a clean stamp on metal surfaces.
2. A marking of some type on the side of the stamp that represents the bottom or top of the letter/number. So you know if you orientation is correct.
Both of these preferences are minor and at this price point I know I'm really cutting hairs but I just want to give my opinion to anyone who wants it.
Everything else considered I would buy these again.

It is durable and it even comes with its own box which is great. Had to return it because it doesn't work well with 10 gauge aluminum wire I figure I would be needing thicker wire. It's super oily not sure why but it would be great to give you a heads up.

When I went to the local part store & saw this set cost $70 I looked on Amazon & found this set for 1/5 that price.... When they arrived I immediately used them... They are a little tight to pull out individually so I found it easier to just dump them all out... With 1 simple tap (my 4 yr old was swinging the hammer) each letter stamped onto the metal frame of a trailer perfectly & clearly... I made the mistake of double tapping which made it look blurry.. This is a very good product for the money.
