I have to take a moment and praise the good folks at Protect Life customer service department. My kit was missing a simple item, and they responded with the speed of an ambulance helicopter but the genuine sense of care (they actually read my emails) of an overzealous grandmother when you have a boo boo. These folks genuinely care about what they're doing and deserve all of the gold stars. As for the kit itself, it seems pretty good, sturdy enough. I'm pretty sure I'm not qualified to even touch half the things in the bag it's so packed with equipment. Genuinely impressed with how much they fit in. Haven't tried it out yet (thank goodness) but I feel prepared enough if I ever do. Just catching up on some TV medical dramas to make sure I know how to use everything properly. (Note: I would actually recommend reading the provided first aid quick reference instead of trying to figure out how 1990s George Clooney did it)

What a fantastic product, I've had this item in my possession for the past 48 hrs and in that time I saved the lives of a pregnant woman, her 4-year-old son, the Japanese royal family, and my 3rd-grade schoolteacher. I recognized my teacher in the meat aisle at Whole Foods when suddenly a box of organic chicken wings fell on top of his head! Nobody even looked at him and I saw the manager walk right past him like he was invisible. When I rushed over and assessed him he had sustained major trauma to his head which resulted in several lacerations to his face from the ice, hematoma, and basal skull fracture which was clear from the blood and CSF flowing from his ears. I graduated top of my class from paramedic school back in the summer of '99 and the one thing that I realized was how ill-prepared the average American is in case of a medical emergency. Thankfully with the help of my 200pc First Aid kit that I had kept on my carabiner, I was able to stop the bleeding from the lacerations and stabilize him until the EMTs arrived. Moral of the story? Don't shop for frozen organic chicken wings at Whole Foods.
