Good solid wood spacers! They are a tad expensive but they do work well. I used some domino type spacers and yes, starting out they will fall over but these lay flat and when your on your 3rd or 4th row of a 15' room, you can slide the whole section against the spacers and keep it where you want it spaced. I used 1 set to do a 15x15 room and transitioned into a small utility room and that 1 set was enough for me. Once I got my 10th row down, you don't need to keep spacing every row. So while a bit expensive comparative, I'd stick to these as they work best to get the first few rows down and squared up so that my take on these spacers. The photo is where the spacers are needed the most. Not showing the spacers in the photo but they are there and just sit on your floor and space to the wall. Really simple way to stay squared up.
Used the old wedges before these and the Tfloor spacers work much better. Not perfect but better

Takes a lot to pop these out while laying a floor. Used the old wedges before these and the Tfloor spacers work much better. Not perfect but better. Being a DIYer this really helped a lot.

Works well for laminate or WPC flooring to prevent it from sliding under high drywall during installation. A little on the pricey side, but they seem to be very high quality.
