Since suffering from hormonal hair loss I started using hair fibers for the days it's just too hot for a wig. Its summer so my go to has been a bun with hair fibers. I tried topik first because I was able to pick it up in store. It worked great, but the cost was a little high for the little amount you get. I found boldify and decided to order it since it was twice the amount for the same price. This stuff is even more amazing than topik I think because the fibers are smaller. I'm on day 4 and my hair looks natural. My routine is brush hair up then add hair tie. Then I add the fibers via spray holding about 4 to 6 inches from head. Now the only issue with hair fibers is the hair line. My secret is using a baby toothbrush to brush the fibers near the hairline. Some will end up on the brush, but your hairline will look real. Ive tried other products - Infinity brand was the one I used most often. But I tried Boldify for a couple reasons. First the great reviews of others of course, but the other reason was the great deal it is! You get a big, 25g bottle and when used properly ( thats the key), it lasts a long time. When I first tried it, I had some coverage issues, but the company addressed my concerns and instructed me the proper method ( shake, use, tip BACK upright, THEN use again). The layering method of Boldify is what makes its so great! I'll never use another brand again.

It does not treat the male pattern baldness ;( but hides it to a degree.
This little can and a can of hairspray can do some serious cover-up.
A 30 mph wind blast and hours of vigorous dancing later, I can attest to it.
Another point, the pillow cases were not ruined in the process.

This is a very fine powder that doesn't go all over the sink or get into your eyes unlike several others I've tried. The soft grey color blends in very well with my hair and it doesn't look fake or like paint on the scalp. I don't really notice any difference in volume but most of these types or products are meant to conceal thinning areas and not to add much body or volume to the hair but I'm fine with that. The real difference is applying it after I blow dry my hair and the fact that I don't see my glaring pink scalp anymore nor am I afraid to go outside when there is wind. The fibers stay in and if it's especially windy I just add a little hairspray and then go on my way. I will definitely purchase this product again.

I bought this product for my elderly ( she will kill me that I used that word) mother.
I dye and set my mom's hair and she always loves it . However, she is always upset and says she's embarrassed when she sees "the bald spot".
She had seen an ad on tv for Toppik and wanted me to get it. After comparing reviews of that and Boldify, I chose Boldify.
The product arrived today and I have to tell you, I really thought this was going to be something that made her scalp look painted. I kept imaging the 70's show, Davey and Goliath where the clay people looked like they had painted hair.
To my surprise ( and I mean, shock), the product was unnoticeable!!! As in, it covered the spot but didn't look like there was product on her hair!!
I kept saying, omg omg this is unbelievable!
We were so surprised that my mom wanted to show her neighbor. The neighbor had the same reaction we did! She said all the neighbors were comparing blades spots the other day LOL!
Her neighbor said she had a bottle of Toppik, but she couldn't get it to look right. Well, I was so happy for my mom I did the neighbor's hair with her Toppik.
I have to say, they are similar products. My moms hair is brown and the neighbor's hair is white.
The darker coverage looked more subtle, so if your hair is darker, you might be happier with the product than if you have white hair( just a guess).
Anyway, I was so surprised after using the product, I took the picture. I wish I took a before pic, but once the product washes out, I'll edit this post and show before and after.
Boldify costs a bit less and I never saw an ad for it, but thanks to the other reviews on here I bought it. Hope this review helps with your choice.
