I used this product as recommended on blue hair. It does state that blue is the easiest to remove, and may need only one application. Well, it did remove a bit of the dye on the first application- basically leaving it looking like a wishy washy color. I didn't reapply because of the odor. The hair stank afterwards, even after a deep shampoo and conditioner. I just figured it would go away in a few more washing. Well, over a month later, the hair still retains a dirty, chemical odor that is very noticeable. The hair did not smell like that before, and the hair was virgin hair prior to the blue being applied. No matter what shampoo I've used, the smell hasn't went away. Actually had to shave it off.

It did remove the color but it was very uneven. It did remove excess dye and the rest is many different colors. It's ok

This product is horrible. It fried my hair!!! I was terrified to brush it because it was so dry and breaking every where I began to cry. It didn't even remove the color!!!!!! Even after 2 hot oil treatments and a mask it's still horrible. My husband even asked if my hair would be OK. I will never use Splat products again.

This product worked ok. I think it was over priced

One has to remember that this is for direct dye, that means reds, blues, etc. So, it won't be good for natural colors. I was trying to remove red and it will take two to three boxes when dealing with red due to the pigments. I use this a lot and I have always been pleased with the results.
