Bought as a birthday gift for a friend. The sword itself is great quality for the price. Very sturdy, nice hilt and full Tang blade. The only reason for a star reduction is the scabbard. The sword is a little loose when inside, and one of the ornamental pieces came loose out of the package. It's easily fixed but still. Overall great sword for the price

Love this sword and for the price wow and when I got it home I sharpened it went down to the woods and was able to hack my way thu a trail , just remember when you're wielding this thing it's the angle that you cut the branches not how you swing at them !

My sister likes to collect swords and knives, so I bought her this sword as a birthday gift and she loves it.
It came razor sharp on about 80% of the blade, but there were some duller spots that needed touching up. We've had some fun slicing fruit and water bottles with it, which is admittedly not hard use, but the edge has held up so far.
Over all I'd say it's a good value, because I've seen worse quality in much more expensive blades, but time will tell how sturdy it really is.

I loved it except for the Koiguchi-kun that came off from the saya as soon as I grabbed it. Recommed to use a better glue as this piece prevents the hand from getting injured, this is specially addressed for those who habitually draw the sword on traning purposes!!!

My son has been wanting a sword for quite some time. I researched several different ones. After reading the reviews for this one, I decided it was the best one for my budget. I can not believe how awesome this sword is. When my son removed it from the box and took it out of the sheath, he was absolutely amazed by how beautiful and how sharp it was. This sword is extremely sharp, a lot sharper than I thought it would be! He immediately started chopping up stuff with it and kept raving about how well it was made, how sturdy the blade was. He's chopped up cantaloupe, cardboard boxes, a grappling dummy, and couldn't be happier. I highly recommend this sword.
