This is not the grill cover for you if you live in a sunny area without shade or with very little shade. (Example: shade from a patio umbrella for part of the day)
It has already faded significantly in less than 4 months and the material they used as binding to hold the fabric together is literally dicinegrating.
I don't know how long this thing will continue to hold together for us. Also, the grill cover has to be a perfect fit along the corners of the sides of the grill tables, or you risk tearing it. (Example: if someone steps on the extra material hanging at the bottom of the grill, the material will get caught on the corner and risk tearing). This almost happened to us, but you just have to be careful and use the Velcro straps on the side to get it just so, and then "tuck" the material to fit like a glove around the grill. In other words, measure your grill, because if this cover is too big, it's going to droop over the sides and the likelihood of it tearing are going to be greater.
I will update next summer to see if it made it. It's November 17 now.

I needed to replace my beloved Weber grill cover after many years of faithful service. I went to the hardware store where I bought my Weber to find a replacement. I found the Weber cover and fell over when I saw the price! You could buy a cheap gas grill for what they were charging.
So I went to Amazon and found this non-Weber brand cover. This is a quarter of the price and its just as good if not better.
It has a silk screen logo HOMITT on the front so if you've got to have Weber on the front this one isn't for you. But if you want a nice cover for 20 bucks I'd buy this one!
It has velcro straps on each side to tighten down the cover for windy days. It also has nylon straps sewn into each side for an easy grip to remove the cover. It looks fine and its pretty decent denier thickness of nylon over a rubber interior.
Make sure your grill has cooled off completely before putting it on. I'm not sure what public school education my kids have but I've got to tell them this obvious fact otherwise they'd slap it on a hot grill and say see Dad I finally covered the grill as it melts down the side of the deck.

I've owned this since April and all of the stitching "hem" has deteriorated and fallen off in clumps. The cover itself seems to be holding up okay, but it's concerning that part of the cover is already freely falling off. The grill is stored outside and I have only uncovered the grill four times since April.

Update 9/23/17: Homitt customer service has been wonderful, and they have sent me a new "upgraded" version of the grill cover to try. I will provide my feedback after I have a chance to use the new cover.

Update 10/18/17: The new upgraded version appears to be higher quality than the previous version that was shipped to me. Assuming this holds up to the weather over the next few months I would recommend this cover.

Our grill is in the sun until the late afternoon. Inside of three months, all the of the seams had disintegrated and the entire cover was completely sun bleached. I was surprised that it didn't hold up very well, given the very high user rating. Also, the velcro 'cinch' on either side feels cheap and is only adjustable by less than six inches. Ended up with a Cuisinart cover that blew this cover away. I gave it two stars because it MIGHT be ok under a porch, or shielded from the sun and elements.

Initially, I left a two star review, with the above review attached. Since then, Homitt contacted me several times offering a replacement, and when I declined, they refunded my money. I didn't ask for it, I didn't pursue a refund, they just took their warranty and my customer satisfaction very seriously and did all they could to make things right. I am very impressed with the lengths they took to back up their product and have adjusted my review rating in kind.

I would like to update this to say that they have amazing Customer Service. A day or so after I posted my review I received an email asking if I would like a new cover or full refund. They have continued to follow up/through and that is something that I greatly appreciate. I'm hoping that myself, like many others, maybe received a bad batch, because reviews before June were fairly positive. I won't be changing my stars as the cover is less than a one, but their customer service definitely deserves a five.

We don't have a lot of experience with grill covers as this is only the second one we've had in 10 years, but this is awful and already falling apart. We haven't used it a full two months and it is in pieces. The "fabric" on the seams is flaking off, the plastic/vinyl layer under the "fabric" is cracked and while I realize dark colors fade in the sun, this is now a light purple instead of the black that it came. I was apprehensive with the price, but was attracted to the dark color to hide the stains that come with grilling and the reviews were more positive than negative, so why not? Save your money, and time writing a negative review. They only have a 30-day return policy, now I know why.
