Seems like poor quality control...

I haven't flown with this yet so I can't speak to the effectiveness of the amplification. However one of the cutouts/openings which the antenna is suppose to be fed though is too small for the antenna to slide into and through the device. Now I've gotta to figure out a way to file the opening wider to allow the antenna to pass through without making it so big that it gets sloppy. Not happy :-(

This antenna signal amplifier is solidly built and folds to a easily portable size. It adds about 50% to your drones range and improves the video signal and recording quality also. It focuses the signal in one direction so you need to keep the remote pointed towards the drone to get the best increase in range. If you fly in areas where buildings, trees, hills or power lines can reduce your signal this can make a significant difference.
