I have a small 8'x8' combination laundry room and shed that I've been remodeling and needed something to finish the floor. Ceramic tile would get broken if a tool slipped and fell to the floor, laminate is out because it's prone to absorb moisture, and vinyl plank might pull up from the floor with the heat or cold snaps, so the best option was a foam tile floor. As you can see, it looks great and was quick to install!
I installed black foam tiles underneath and then these faux bamboo design ones on top to get a little extra padding for the feet.

This does the job for its purpose. I got them because i didnt want to put down rugs due to my allergies. This gives a cushion support when standing on it and minimize noise for the people below me. Easy to clean and vacuum too. It dents easily when you place any heavy furniture on it and the furniture cant be moved so i attached furniture leg sliders underneath my ottoman and this slides around on the foam mat with no problems. Also fixed the dent issues. Looks great too albeit a bit pricey.
