Prior to using these dishwasher tablets, I was using an all-natural brand that seemed to have changed formulations recently. My dishes were coming out with film and odd smells, so I decided to try a "normal" brand. I couldn't be happier with these. I have no idea what's in them, but they work really well. No odd smells on the dishes, no film, and no stray food debris unless I do something stupid like allow food to really cake a dish and harden on the surface.
Best of all, the dishwasher smells good both while it's operating and after I open the door. I'll be buying these again.

"Completely" happy :)

LOVE these dishwasher pods!! They are so easy and no mess- just pop one in to the dishwasher. They're great for kids because you don't have to worry about too much or too little soap OR a huge mess.
The only issue that we've had occasionally with them is the pods melting or sticking together sometimes. But we live in AZ where it gets pretty hot sometimes so I've never taken it as a defect in the product.
Cascade is a brand I've always used, my grandma used to use it. It's dependable and works great. I love that they are available in S&S- they're cheaper here than anywhere I've found. Go Savings!

Better than what we've been using for several years!

There's not much you can say about a dishwasher detergent other than does it do the job? And by "do the job", I mean clean dishes/eating utensils that have some tough stuff stuck to them. We've only used these pacs for maybe half a dozen washes, but I recently put a large spoon in the dishwasher that had cheese on it that would NOT come off by rinsing it in really hot water; it was stuck to the spoon like an adhesive. The spoon came out pristine, as have all the dishes/glassware/plastic ware since we started using the Cascade Actionpacs.
This product also has two nice advantages over the product we used for years. I can't mention the name or this review will be rejected, but each "pac" was wrapped. You had to unwrap it before putting it in the dishwasher, and sometimes the wrap didn't come off easily/was a pain to get off. The Cascade pacs have no wrap; just grab one and drop it in. The plastic container is also great. It has a flip-up lid that makes it easy to grab a pac and close the lid. The prior product came in a cardboard box that we tore the top off to make it easily accessible, leaving the pacs unprotected. Bottom line: We like these much better than the product we've used for years. Highly recommended.

Cascade is easy to use and efficient.

I think I like Cascade Complete. The dishes come out really clean most of the time and when they don't I attribute it to overpacking in the silverware tray or bowls nested too snuggly. I do have a problem with stains on the flatware - mostly on the knives - that are very difficult to remove. It doesn't matter if I use the everyday flatware or the mega-expensive set, there are always rust colored spots. (Once was enough. I no longer put the expensive stuff in the dishwasher at all). Cascade is easy to use and it doesn't pop open in the container. I do love the convenience! I tried other brands before Cascade but have been using Cascade now for about 6 years. The other brands also left spots on my flatware so I'm not really blaming Cascade for that but wonder if it is a contributing factor in any way. My dishwasher is a top of the line Bosc; quiet and efficient otherwise.
I'll continue to use Cascade because I really do think it's the best that's out there.

Only thing that doesn't leave a white haze on my dishes!

This is the ONLY detergent that keeps my dishes from a white chalky film. For months I used the Method tabs and it was fine but slowly over time I was getting a worse and worse white haze on all of my plastics (as presumably everything else but it's easy to see on plastics). (Yeah - I'm lazy - EVERYTHING goes in the dishwasher!) I finally tried this and things were great. I have a big bad of the Method tabs and tried to use one the other day after months of using this product. I thought maybe I could use one every other wash or every few washes just to get rid of them but that very first load had the dreaded white haze! So I guess I'm sticking to these 100% from now on!
