Over sudsing causing dishwasher to leak. I have no problem with other dishwasher detergent but when I used this product for the first time I noticed water all over floor. When I opened the dishwasher the tub was full of suds. I had to bail out water and run 2 rinse cycles to get rid of suds and strong chemical smell.

Perfect product and the perfect price! I never thought about purchasing cleaning products on line but was tired of spending a fortune at the grocery store for a container this size or going to one of those discount stores just for this product! We had been using Cascade powder and gel and our dishes just wouldn't come clean, even with pre-rinsing. I was spending time cleaning and re-cleaning the filters, the lines, using vinegar and various other internet solutions. Finally I came across these Cascade platinum pods and decided to bite the bullet - I didn't want to spend that much on (what I thought were) stupid little pods. As soon as they arrived, I popped one into the dishwasher along with some dirty dishes that I didn't even rinse. I was SHOCKED when the dishes came out clean. Glasses sparkling, no weird food bits stuck to the sides, pasta sauce remains completely removed from plates, and no water spots on glasses and silverware. Whoever formulated these pods is officially on my holiday card list. I am so thankful that we can use our dishwasher and it actually cleans the dishes now!

Keep it out of reach of children and it's great for doing dishes. We were getting excess soap scum buildup in our new high efficiency dish washer using what looked like the right amount of boxed Cascade but these measured packs even seem to be cleaning that up and the dishes come out sparkling clean.
Great cleaner, cleans better than regular Cascade pods.

Ordered early about 1am, got it the same day Prime shipping. I went shopping, and I forgot this at the store. I didn't want to waste gas, so I ordered from Amazon Prime, knowing it would get to my door soon anyway within a day or so. Nothing wrong with the container or product, it was as if I went to the store to buy it. The product cleans better than the regular cascade pods. I haven't had to use the rinse aid since I have used these pods. I still rinse my dishes as usual before running the dishwasher because no cleaners can get the chunks of food off without rinsing, it's virtually impossible. But this formula of cascade does clean WAY better than the regular pods.
