I was working on a very complex model ship, pre-painting most of the parts as the build proceeded. As I became more deeply immersed in the process it occured to me that airbrushing would be a much better way to paint the endless tiny parts parts. After looking at many airbrush systems, this one seemed to fit the budget and offered a complete set of accessories and three airbrushes. It has not let me down. The compressor pumps up to the pre-set pressures and shuts off until the pressure is reduced from airbrushing. I find this method to be much more satisfying than using a paint brush. It takes longer to get larger areas covered but the finish is much smoother and more professional. The extra time is worth the end result. This system seems to be well made and delivers a quality airbrushed finish.

Great kit and starter air brush set. The fact that you get all this for the price of one airbrush elsewhere means you have a chance to learn and, in my case, break some things, without losing too much money. The option to try different brush types is great, and you have a backup. The brushes are not fantastic - you get what you pay for and they're on the cheap end which means less precise and durable. But it's been great to learn with, prime miniatures, and decide that investing in a much more expensive brush is worthwhile. The compressor is relatively quiet, works great for longer sessions, and having the tank is great for consistent pressure and not having to listen to it all the time... although it is usually on the majority of the time at 20psi.
