Pretty darn good for the money

For a tiny pepper grinder (and I do mean tiny), it does the job. What I like most is that the paper flakes come or different shapes & sizes which adds a visual appeal to any dish -much better than per-ground pepper shakers. The copper tone also adds a nice visual appeal.

Incredible little machine/grinder. I was using a mortar to grind all my spices, taking a long time and effort to perform the work. With the Turkish Grinder, I am able to add spices as I am cooking and change the recipe at a moment notice. I am impress with the ease of use and how effortless is to grind and or add spices as you go. No more sitting around with the mortar grinding an hour prior to cooking time to make sure that I have all the spices I need. The Turkish Grinder is a crafty little machine that allows you a lot of versatility as you are cooking and preparing a meal.

I purchased two of these. Two different colors so I could tell the difference between salt and pepper. They are so cute, but smaller than I expected. Right now they are a bit hard to grind, but I am hoping that gets better as they wear in.

For the price, I expected this to be pretty flimsy, but it is a solid little piece! It's very beautiful and is much easier for my children to use than the bigger kind where you twist the two parts in opposite directions. It is small, about 3" tall, and for bigger hands turning the crank can feel a little fiddly, but it's not awkward or difficult. My husband bought this for grinding whole peppercorns and I like it so much that I went back and bought another one for grinding larger crystals of pink salt. Once I have used that one for approximately a month, I will come back and update this review on whether the salt corroded the metal; which is a problem I have had in the past with lower cost grinders.

This is a well-made, attractive small grinder that can be sued for a variety of purposes. My daughter had Turkish coffee, made with freshly ground cardamon seeds, and she was so taken with it that we ordered 3 grinders, one for my mom, myself, and for her.
