This game was fun, the DLC was even better, very long and juicy content, bought Tears of the Kingdom to continue the franchise.

I love zelda

Added a few new features and clothing to an already perfect game. You aren't missing out on a lot if you don't play it, but still enjoyable. Above average for DLC these days. Having Master Mode does allow for more replay-ability.

This game is really something special. I haven't felt this way playing a game in many years, just absolutely in love with it. So of course more content sounds like a no brainer! Promising me a hard mode, enticing me to play it again over the summer (assuming I stop playing it between here and summer, I have over 80 hours in and I JUST exposed the entire map finally and I have yet to really explore the western side) is worth $20 alone. But a new story element AND a new dungeon this winter? If you have done any of the 4 dungeons you know this will be something really special. Perhaps you should be skeptical of my opinion, because this game has resonated with me like no other in literally years if not decades. But if you love it like I do, $20 for more content means $20 has already left your account.

(Edit May 1st) Just announced the content for the first DLC Pack. Hard mode sounds really cool, not just hard difficult but adding floating platforms for more combat. The master sword challenge quest sounds like Eventide Island on steroids. The map functionality is amazing, and backward compatible with your old saves, showing everywhere in Hyrule you have been for the past 200(!) hours of gameplay! Controllable fast travel that you can set anywhere in the world! And of course 8 new pieces of armor, including a korok seed finding mask. I was happy with just the map functions and a hard mode, all of this first DLC would be a $20 or more purchase in any other game. If they had this much to surprise us with on the first round, I can't wait to see what the story and dungeon pack has up its sleeves!

The additional content is a welcome addition to such a phenomenal game. The big downside is that you become even more grossly overpowered and winning the game becomes that much more trivial. My favorite features are the hard mode (master mode), the tracking of all your movement through the game, and the sword challenge as it is by far the hardest thing to do in the entire game.
