Key features

  • CONVENIENCE: A 90 second set-up and spaciously sleep up to eight people, standing 78 in tall and features 110 sq. feet of floor space. This provides as added leisure area that quickly converts to a second sleeping space when needed.
  • RAINFLY WITH INTEGRATED POLES: A waterproof rainfly with taped seams is included with each tent. The integrated poles insert into each corner before popping up the roof. It can be left off on nice nights for a great view of the stars.
  • STURDY POP-UP HUB DESIGN: Our camping tents come fully assembled and pop-up fast thanks to the innovative framework. We use only all-metal hubs and solid fiberglass poles to create a solid structure that resists strong winds.
  • DURABLE BEEFY YKK ZIPPERS: Zippers go through a lot of abuse, and there is nothing worse than getting in and out of a tent with broken zippers. That's why we use rugged and dependable and beefy YKK zippers on our doors.
  • REMOVABLE FLOOR: The rugged polyester floor is held securely in place by a thick strip of extra strength hook and loop tape surrounding the tent interior. It can be quickly removed to shake out dirt and sand.

An easy beast
Jonathan BanerSeptember 3, 2018
This monster is as easy to set up as advertised. It pops right up in a minute or so. Taking it down has a bit of a learning curve as far as getting it back into its carrying case, but once you figure out what works best that only takes a few minutes.

Big enough for 4 cots with plenty of room to spare. Could presumably shove 6 cots in without too much effort.
Five minutes up three minutes down the first time on my yard

update: 8-19-18 Used four days in Redwoods by Smith River. Very easy up and take down but still can't get in bag. Asked company for step by step instructions on proper folding. Got nothing but watch video. That was no help. Big zero for Customer Service hope the tent lasts. A bit awkward placing a high queen mattress inside. We tried three different ways. but our stuff was in screen room anyway so . . .
Lots of useful pockets inside tent and screen room. It does get a lot of attention because of its cube shape and loud color. If I get a dozen more uses out of it I'll be happy. Still haven't needed rainfly but I'm sure it'll work fine. Has anyone figured out the trick to wrapping so it fits in bag? Please message me with instructions.
Just got it and put up in my yard to test and make sure no rips or missing items. It went up in five. Came down in three but I'm still trying to zip up the bag. I guess practice will make perfect. Did not try rain fly yet but that seems the easy part. Not our first rodeo with tents.
Our first, a three person Camel purchased in 1981, we still have and all three daughter have used to trips. Then we went with Walmart, lasted one winter and ripped, threw it out. Next, a Cabelas Alaskan Guide Model is also great and lasted through dozens upon dozens of trips with our girls and dogs. It is now over 25yrs old and still usable. Next, a Cabelas XWT Extreme Weather is great for tall older people who don't like to bent into geodesic tents anymore, like me and hubby, but heavy and takes an hour to put up. Lastly, we purchased this for easy set up and take down and height and it did not disappoint first time up.
It seems very well made though priced 1/3 of our previous two tents. Time will tell because we love to camp and we'll use it often. If it falls apart easily I'll update. Seams aren't taped but willing to do myself next camping trip. Read all reviews and questions and answers. Especially weight and length. Not for backpacking or walk-in sights but car camping as long as it fits. Has some small pockets in screen room and more in tent area. Won't run out of space with this. Floor seems well made. Velcro sticks well. I would get a tarp under tent to protect it anyway. Only the front door frame polls seems flimsy. Throw out stakes provided and get your own real stakes. I'll post pix when camping w/it.
Make sure rooms fit your needs.

Stood up to a nasty storm, both rooms remained dry during a serious downpour.
Easy setup and take down by one person.
Room size / layout leave some to be desired. Larger / longer raised air mattress or cot can only fit centered and width wise inside the rooms. Basically, we ended up having to set up a single cot in each room and one person always had to use the back door.
All in all an excellent tent.
... this tent last year and it has been a great tent for me

I picked up this tent last year and it has been a great tent for me. There is plenty of space to have several people stand in this tent and not feel crowded. Holds up extremely well in a torrential downpour. I was concerned about that a little bit since I found that the screened in porch area side walls are just for privacy and not so much for weather. The rain fly really did the work of keeping water out of the front porch/bonus room.

The only real difficulty that I found is how much room it can take up in packing. In a collapsed form, It's very long and on the heavier side. I would not be expected to pack this one in a car. Maybe a roof rack. But not in a car. The other difficulty is getting it back into the bag that ships with the tent. But isn't that always a problem with tent bags. Tolerances so tight that you have to get it just right. I am sure if you spend enough time it could be done. But I decided to save my time and ordered a new bag for the tent. The one that I ordered was also from Amazon and would be this one: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B008Y272IO/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o03_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 . More than enough room in that one!
Somewhat difficult to get in bag. VERY large. Will not fit in the trunk of a sedan.

We received our new tent on Saturday, and, as expected, it is HUGE, just in the bag. We decided to set it up in the back yard today. It took about 2 minutes to set up the basic tent. We didn't put the rain fly on, but it seemed to be really good quality. The tent itself is amazing. It is extremely roomy, has tons of pockets for storage, and actually has removable floors in both areas. There is a second small door to exit out of the normal tent part, in case you have somebody sleeping in the screened area and need to go potty. It has tons of Windows for ventilation.

Taking it down was a breeze once we figured it out (the directions are not helpful). It only took us a couple of minutes. Actually easier to fold up than our 2-person cinch tent, and MUCH more roomy. The only issue was getting it in the bag, which we managed to do just fine. It was easier to get in the bag than any Coleman or Ozark trail tent I've ever used.

I honestly don't know why it has all these negative reviews. It is an outstanding tent, and money well spent. We will update once we take it camping in May.
