Great solid tool. The blade is not too flexible, not too rigid. The arrangement and depth of the multi-layered teeth cut with ease on the pull stroke. The blade locks securely in two open positions, and in the closed position (with no exposed teeth). The lever at the hinge end releases it for opening and closing. This thing zips through one-inch thick branches with two or three pulls. And with a little patience, letting the saw do the work, I was able to cut branches up to 5 inches thick by working my way around, from bark to near center. This really is the best pruner I've ever owned for effectiveness, speed, non-clogging, comfort and price. The bonus, plastic sheath is a nice plus for storage. Also, I haven't tried this, but it makes such a clean, smooth cut, that I expect it could be successfully used for woodworking projects. Highly recommended.

great quality saw at a great price. cuts wood easily. perfect for my bonsai hobby. i really like the metal parts in the construction. the lock is nice and tight. this saw should last me till the teeth ware out.
Good economical pocket saw

Within a day of receiving this, I cut a bunch of 1-3" vines off of tree and felled a couple young 3" - 4" wide oaks that were growing near our power line. I wanted a pocket sized tool we could use to take out small things as we walk around our property and it's served that purpose well so far. I do wish the blade were slightly sturdier, but it looks easy enough to replace if I want to. Overall, very happy with it.

High Quality Saw, Worth the Purchase

Competitive to much more expensive brands. For the price, this saw is incredible. It has proven to be everything I need to easily prune my garden. I really like that the teeth of the saw are well designed and don't clog. This means I can easily cut through even the thickest of wood with no problems. The plastic case, with belt attachment, comes in use with larger projects. The grip is sturdy and the locking mechanism is reliable. Overall, great quality and I highly recommended it!
