Works like a charm once you get it working. I had on older rg59 cable run that I wasn't able to replace in the wall.
One thing to note is that the BNC connectors sent with this item don't allow the normal cable TV plugs to fit. I had to go to Lowe's and get a couple twist on BBC connectors for my existing cablE once that was done the thing worked like a charm.
No lag and great video/sound quality for the price.

Excellent HDMI extender, i really recommend it, works like a charm, only one thing to notice, it supports progressive resolutions only, i mean 1080p, 720p, etc., so no 1080i (interlaced), but is not a problem to me.
