I was pretty excited when I saw this product on amazon. I love passion fruit and it's so hard to find at the grocery store. I liked that this product didn't have any added sugar. It was tart and delicious. However, it was pretty pricey for how much you get. It's kind of a special occasion only item.
best passion fruit pulp I've tried, better than some "fresh" passion fruit

I have spent a lot of money ordering fresh passion fruit and I've tried several pulps and syrups. This is the best one I've tried. I use it to make caipirinha's and they are just as good as the ones you get in a bar in Brasil. Use about an ounce of this pulp, a half a lime (diced), and about 2 tablespoons of sugar, smash in a relatively strong cocktail glass with a pestle. Add ice. Add cachaca (not the same as Brazilian rum, do not substitute. Cachaca 61 is a decent brand for the money). Stir thoroughly. Cut a straw in half and enjoy slurping the delicious mixture from the bottom of the glass.

A Special Treat!

What a treat! It's so hard to find REAL edible passion fruit (with the pips!) in my landlocked area. The fragrance and flavor conjure treasured memories of vacations in the tropics. Speedy shipping, no problem with spoilage.
