GREAT SO FAR
George Kersey✓ Verified Purchase•February 18, 2024
The media could not be loaded. So far i love my little raft, ive taken it down the royal gorge (class IV) about 6 times and the gunnison river once. it surfs really well! however compared with other more expensive mini boats... its not very fast on the water. not a big deal, because i enjoy a good float. Not sure how long the raft will last in comparison to higher end rafts, but this is my first boat and i usually use commercial rafts as im a guide in the summer.
Would really love to be able to take the label off as i dont like the name of the company, but thats just me being picky. im a college student and a broke one at that. good buy for the money.
The good: the floor is hard as a rock when inflated, making it great for surfing and side ferrying.
4 outer chambers means that it will still float in the event of a hole, unlike hyside, tributary, star, RMR, or even NRS.
Solid full size D-rings as opposed to the smaller 1 inch on other mini boats.
comes with pump!
The bad: Drives like a pig on crack, im used to an I-beam floor as a guide, this boat tracks, just not super well... not a deal
breaker for me but this makes it slower in flat sections as it constantly wants to turn.
Handles are in weird spots (superficial but kind of annoying for R2 paddling.)
bailer valves on the outer tubes of the boat, WHY WHY WHY, after a lot of use with these types of valves in the field i've found they are always bound to fail, due to dirt or the springs giving out from the higher pressure that is ideal for higher water or more rigorous boating. (Pro tip:I will be gluing mine shut after my warranty is up)
The foot straps are in places that are not good for tall people, or anyone over 5'3'' and are pretty loose, if you were to slide an ankle in there it could be really really dangerous. I have bigger feet so its not an issue for me, however im going to be removing mine once the warranty is up because I would hate for someone to be entrapped in my boat in the case of a flip.
the thwarts... they are held in with O rings (or grommets) and string, its cheap, it works, but im unsure of how long these metal pieces will stay intact and not pop the boat. I plan on using the industry standard, the batten and loop system, its been proven year after year at my rafting outfitter here in colorado.
pro tip: PVC likes to stay inflated! keep it inflated and stored inside and it will last 5+ years with heavy use. when rolled up they tend to crease and get holes. I know this from other manufactured boats and have been in the industry for a while.
Hoped this helped out! and hope to see you on the water!

Took a bit of a gamble on the Bris El-cheapo raft. I have to say... not bad, not bad at all! We just spent 3 days on the river and it did quite well. Tracks good and didn't have to put any air in the whole trip. Went over some narley rocks and class III and IV rapids and it shrugged them off, not even a scratch. We tried it with 3 and 4 people and it was a blast. The only hokey thing was the drop stitch floor. It's not attached to the boat and it inflates a bit to wide for the interior, Not giving water the room to flow out the self-bailing holes. At first I was frustrated with this design. Then I realized that the thwarts hold the floor in quite snugly. An added bonus was the ease of removing the floor for cleaning, peice of cake! 10 times easier then my big NRS raft. To allow better water flow down to the self bailing holes, I stitched two straps which circle the floor directly under the thwarts. I kept the straps a few inches shorter than the circumference of the floor bladder creating good sized exit points for the water. Worked like a charm and the boat drains very quickly (refer to photo). We'll see How many seasons I'll get out of it but the materials and construction appear to be very similar to by NRS boat. Excited to use it more!
Great Value Boat with some flaws

Tough to find reviews on this boat so here's what I have found from the boat after taking it down stretches up to Class IV.
Good:
- Fun Boat
- Turns on a dime
- Full size D rings
- Can raft with 4 - 5 people
Bad:
- VALVES!!! Cheap bailer valves and everything about them feels tough, can't imagine them lasting as long as the rest of the boat
- Thwart attachment
- Some cracks in outer PVC coating when it arrived
Depends:
-Doesn't track well
- Extras, not really useful for whitewater rafting but foot pump and paddles could be nice for very flat water
Just some thoughts you can add drain holes to the floor if you want. And to be safe I will be covering my foot loops with patch material to avoid foot entrapment issues

Nice raft for the money

I've had this out on the Arkansas River three times now. Class two, three and four rapids. We flipped one time with four people in class 4 Rapids. On one trip we had an experienced river guide with us, and he said he really liked how maneuverable it was. We took two people on class two and three rapids along with one dog, and there is more than enough room. We have grounded a few times, and there's nothing but a few scuff marks on the bottom.
Five Stars
