very sturdy, made well only thing i dislike is the handle does not fold down while being stored unless you pull the stays out of the side. i bit expensive for what it is but this is one basket that will last.

Love these shopping baskets. The bottoms are completey removable and wash well. The handle folds down for storage and they easily stack together for storage. They offer better support the sides have plastic (removeable) ribs and the bottom is a hard surface. Great for your shopping need and better than those plastic reusable bags and much more hygienic. I have two that are over 15 years old and they still look great.

This Carrybag is very sturdy. I had one in Germany wich I gave away and regretted sorely. When I found Reisenthel at Amazon.com I hesitated to buy it because it's pricy ( in Germay it's also price but not quiet that much). BUT the quality is so good it's worth it!
I also bought the matching Coolerbag wich can be used as an insert or as a seperate bag - great.
A previous rewiewer criticized that the bag was hard to "assemble" and that there was no instruction. I don't remember my old Carrybag but this one I put together without even looking at the instruction. It is very easy! There was, as I saw later, an instructionon the tag.

Love this! Absolutely perfect for living downtown and making frequent small shopping trips. I use this while shopping and also to carry everything back. Great in Seattle where the rain destroys paper bags, too. This carries pretty substantial weight too - I usually fill it up and include heavy things like milk, juice, etc.
