Fits my Canon 18-55 mm lens okay but there is vignetting on the 18 mm setting. The description says it works on the Canon EF-S 18-55 mm lens. Vignetting means the lens hood is not fully compatible at all zoom lengths on the this lens.

I can only comment on the initial impression as I have yet to use it taking photos. It fits the lens well and folds up nice. It is not perfectly round seemed to flat spot like a tire will from sitting. I don't think it will affect the performance but looks funny.

Very Nice attachment! I never would have noticed the difference in pictures without it! It helps with things I didn't even realize in photoshop. I take a lot of outdoor photos with my kids and it really does help block of some of the sunshine and glare that gets to the lens.
