... clearance from a big box store and am so glad we did

I picked this up on clearance from a big box store and am so glad we did.
There's only one thing I'd love to see improved on a future model. The climbing portion gets understandably slippery when you have wet kids climbing on it and more than a few times one of my kiddos slipped and flew right off the back. I'd love to see a barrier on that bottom part.
You also come to realize that it doesn't hold water unless the blower is on - so if you turn it off on Friday night, you'll have to refill it on Saturday morning.
It's also much bigger than it looks on the box. Plenty of room for multiple adults to pick a spot in the shallow end and stay cool.
It's has survived two long hot days of near-continuous use - and boy the kids sure don't complain about bedtime anymore.

Disclosure - I did not purchase through Amazon because this was a rare occurrence when Target was cheaper but my review is of the same product.
I love this pool/slide combo. It's pricey but seems pretty durable. I bought this for my 4 and 2 year olds so I'm hoping it lasts at least 2 more summers. Considering the cost to rent these, if I get a full summer use I've made my money back. My kids are obsessed and haven't stopped playing with it since we set it up. I don't have any cons at this point so I'll point out why I like it:
1) Size - it's big. 10' tall so the kids get a thrill experience. Bonus for parents - the climb tires kiddos out so bed time is no struggle. There's also plenty of space for parents to relax in the pool area to escape the heat.
2) Ease of set-up - I put it up by myself. Figuring out where the water tubes go is probably the most complicated part. Once you have that secured, the compressor sets it up in a matter of minutes. When they say 3 minutes, they're not lying.
3) Compressor - the electric blower is a beast and keeps the slide inflated nicely. There's noise but it's not terrible - about as noisy as my neighbor's air conditioning unit. I love that the cord is extremely long so an extension cord was not necessary.
4) Water hose connection - does not leak. It's great. The tubes are velcro'd securely on the slide so there's no leaks anywhere.
