First of all I didn't need a $10 bar of soap but after reading reviews thought it was a luxury worth trying especially if it moisturized. It does do that but where it misses is size and publicity. Even wet it would stick to my skin. And it evaporates quickly. I'd say it was small enough that it will only last the week. It is a very good soap other than that.

If this was $4-5 per bar I would probably keep buying it unfortunately it is not.

When I first unboxed this, I cut this bar in half (I don't like it when bar soap gets mushy) and used this to wash my face since my face gets extremely oily. I saw such an improvement in less than a week; more so than with high-end and all-natural cosmetics I have been exploring with since a teenager, that I decided to try the other half as body wash. I started to develop little bumps on the back of my shoulders and lower back; I guess it is acne but they don't have white or blackheads like pimples on my face... Idk what they're officially called, anyway, this soap helped minimize those breakouts too! I still alternate with my usual body wash (dove moisturizing body wash for sensitive skin: the only product before this, that has helped me) because after two or three days of using this strictly as a body wash as well, my skin was becoming visibly dry and I could feel the creeping dryness-itch coming. So now I alternate as much as every-other-day to as little as twice a week. Anyway, that is still such HUGE progress for me because I have seen many dermatologists and no prescription, expensive Korean products, DIY remedies, etc., has ever consistently and effortlessly improved my face and body's complexion as well as this has (I still use this as a facial cleanser at least twice a day).

Since I was a child I've always have had to smuther myself in lotion after a shower to help my skin feel moisturized. But after using this yellow bird soap, as soon as I get out the shower my skin feels so clean and moisturized, I don't need to put lotion on and it's a super dry winter. I purchased this soap because of the reviews saying it was helpful for people with skin issues like eczema which I have, and some hormonal acne.. well within a few days I use there was an obvious improvement! So glad I tried this out.
The only thing is I wish the soap lasted longer, for the price it sure does go fast. The company sent me an email with suggestions on how to get the most use out of the soap, so I took their advice and cut the soap and half so once one side runs out I'll still have some more soap. All in all it's pricey but it lives up to the reviews, I highly recommend this soap if you have skin issues

Only day 5 using the bar so far, but here's my review. Would recommend to anyone :). Doesn't dry my face out and helps wash off the oil from my naturally oily skin. I've tried proactive and other acne medications that you can pick up at Walmart or drug stores, those all caused my face to become dry and irritated.
Will buy this again when it's closer to time to need it :).

This is a little crazy for me because I never write reviews, but this soap was amazing for me. As someone who has struggled with acne since puberty and will probably have it for a lifetime, I don't ever expect my acne to disapear 100%, and I've kept those expectations with this soap. However, most face soaps I use make me break out or don't help at all -- dry out my skin, or make my skin too oily, etc. I have pretty hard to deal with skin, too, since its combination oily/dry. This stuff amazingly didn't make me break out at all, and actually helped clear my face. It also works great as body soap! And my skin never feels like the moisture was stripped out of it, which happens with a lot of soap, or like a gross film was left behind, which is common for "moisturizing" soaps. I would like to add, though, for anyone struggling with acne, using soaps in combination with a deep scrubber like clarisonic really helps clear up more and faster, and will help smooth the skin. This might not help with cystic acne though as that is under the skin. I also suggest witch hazel to help with redness and inflammation of acne. That usually helps reduce new found growing pimples from becoming a planet or a colony. But then face lotion that doesn't make you break out? That challenge is up to you. Anyways, i love this soap and will definitely continue to use in the future.
