THIS CART IS A PIECE OF CRAP!!! First of all, the assembly instructions seemed to be written to be understood by people who have a master's degree in engineering!!! Secondly, the pieces -- the doors, the drawer, the handles for the doors and the drawer, etc. -- were made of very cheesy/ cheap materials with rough edges. In fact one of the handles broke when my adult son - whose pretty handy in assembling things -- tried to screw it on. The cart looked better in the online picture than it did when it was finally assembled and is not terribly stable on wheels -- we decided to take them off to make the cart more stable. I guess that since I only paid $76 I should not have expected anything better -- YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR!!!

I ordered one of these and it came pretty quickly. Upon unpacking I noticed a foreign substance had gotten into the box while it was packed at the factory. It was mashed in between some of the pieces and it left an oily stain on a few pieces, and some dark marks on others. Several other pieces were scratched. I went online to Amazon and did the exchange process. I promptly received a UPS return label for the item and another unit was delivered in just a few days. The 2nd unit was better, but it had a broken piece, as well as some scratched pieces. I still had the 1st unit so I swapped them from there.
Assembly was... interesting. All the pieces were numbered, and the pictures in the instructions corresponded to those numbers. However, the text in the instructions referred to the pieces by a designated letter, instead of a number. For example, The text would say something like "Insert wooden dowels into piece 'A'", when you were actually inserting wooden dowels into piece "number 2'" In some of the pre-assembly instructions, part numbers were switched. Luckily it was pretty easy to figure out the correct pieces. Also, in a couple of places, it wasn't very clear which way to orient a specific piece for assembly. I ended up putting one piece on backward, but it was fairly easy to correct. Following the instructions for assembling the drawer made it protrude from the front of the unit. I had to make an adjustment in the placing of the screws on the tracks to make it flush with the front of the unit.
Several of the finished edges look like they have been rubbing up against something leaving marks or removing the white from the edge. This makes a brand new unit look like it's a few years old right away. I noticed this with both units. There's a few small gaps and minor misalignments on the unit. One piece (piece #4) didn't attach well. It's as if the hole for one of the cam inserts isn't quite in the correct place. This is the same piece that was broken in the 2nd unit. In addition, there's about a 1/3 inch gap between the doors. It's as if the doors are the wrong size. While the doors are adjustable, there's no adjustment for that.
Also, I put my microwave on top. There is no hole in the backing for the cord of a microwave to pass through.
In conclusion, if I had known better, I would have spent a few more bucks and gotten a better item.

I am very handy putting multiple cupboards chest of drawers etc. This cart however was not easy to do. The drawer need jiggling. It doesn't close all the way, the item is shaky. It looks ok if you can ignore the drawer sticking out a little bit. If you are not use to putting things together. Thus is not a project for you. I would not recommend this item. It was cheap and it shows!!!!!
Impossible instructions - missing parts.

Assembly instructions are near indecipherable. Parts missing on arrival. (Lucky for me, Home Depot stocks all the parts you might need). Tried contacting manufacturer with information in the instruction book - email returned undeliverable. Was assembling on the weekend, and their call center is only open m-f 8-5. Did not try to call, as they were not open.
NEED HELP, PLEASE!!

My cart arrived with box intact. The instructions suck!! I've been able to assemble the drawer and the doors. That's as far as I've gotten. The screws labeled for the drawer pull were 2 different sizes, not a major problem. I have no idea what I'm supposed to do with those mini-pin things and the funky screws/bolts that came in the same bag. Can someone please guide me or tell me where to find understandable instructions? The Hodedah website doesn't have anything helpful. Mine's still in pieces after 4 attempts to figure it out. I'm sure I'll like it once I get the pieces and parts in the right places. Please, someone please help me!!!!
