Just keep in mind that if you use in another shape than the one in the picture you wont have as many places for bottles. We sprayed painted in a copper color. Beautiful.

Best wine rack I've ever come across. The flexibility to configure it to a specific space is fantastic and almost unlimited. It's very well made, easy to assemble and it looks great. My only complaint is if you want it long but not high there aren't enough top pieces nor do they give you the option to purchase just the tops. I had to buy three sets but could have done what I wanted with 2, just to get the extra tops I needed. But the assembled rack itself was so good I didn't really mind except for the additional cost.

While I'm sure this would be great for storing wine, we bought it for a less conventional use. I work at an architecture office where we stock rolls and rolls of trace paper. Until today, we had all our different-sized rolls stacked up in a flimsy old cardboard box, and they would always fall all over the place and get badly disorganized. This Stakrax system fit the trace paper rolls perfectly, tucked very neatly under a shelf in our supply closet, and was super easy to snap together. It's surprisingly sturdy for being made of hinged plastic, and easy to configure however you want it.
I will note that the 12-bottle capacity pack means that you'll have 9 enclosed holes, and then open space for 3 more bottles on top (not enclosed). This works really well for our purposes, but it's good to remember: allow a few extra inches on top when you're measuring the spot where you want to set it up.
Also great for a secret wine stash in the office.

This is a brilliant idea!! Fits together easily and securely. Wine bottles fit in comfortably. I'm using this to hack a Kallax shelf from Ikea to turn it into a bar cabinet: this product fits in one of the cubes (cube measures 13x13).
