A much stronger taste than I was expecting, based on reviews. And I don't like licorice, so I didn't brew as long as recommended. I added lemon slices and that helped. I added the leftover to my regular AM lemon water and brewed cold overnight. Much better this morning.

I was taking some digestive enzymes on the advice of a Functional Med doc and experiencing some gas/constipation that I have never experienced before. Somehow I stumbled across The Prime and thought I'd give things a go to work on improving my digestion. I was skeptical, but this tea helped so much with the gas and constipated/bloated feeling. The response was mild, but evident in the first few days. Now, a month later, my guts are so much more comfortable.
What I wanted to share was that my tea has evolved into a nice chai type concoction and I thought others who drink this tea might be interested:
I sprinkle cinnamon, cardamom and a little clove (in addition to manjustha powder) on top, then add a little coconut cream and use a little ikea frother to mix it up. It is so delicious! I don't add sugar and it tastes slightly sweet and deliciously spicy to me.I look forward to the tea as a treat now and I don't drink the decaf/hwc I used to. I believe this is a much healthier alternative and to me it tastes much, much better than the chai I've bought at the store.
The manjustha powder takes away from the chai, so I may look at delivering that substance separately.

I bought this for following The Prime. My first purchase was of the brand the author sponsors, and I quite liked it. This is just as good, though, and quite a bit less expensive.
