"A Minor Miracle"
Patrick✓ Verified Purchase•February 5, 2018
Look, we all know what matters with these bags: "do the tea leaves get through the bag and into my cup?" The answer is a definitive "no." I've tried a variety of looseleaf teas, some coarse, others fine ... I've never had this problem with these bags. They're a minor miracle. Get them.
The bags are to thick, the water does not ...

The bags are to thick, the water does not drow out of them well. when you pull the back out of the cup a lot of water is left in the bag. You literally have to squeez the hot back and burn your fingers to get the liquid out. whitch makes me believe thay are not pourus enough for tea, that it does not steep well. I you just throw it away a signioficant amount of your cup goes with it. I will not buy again and will look for another brand.
Good for taking loose tea on the go!!

I use these when bringing tea to work. I really like them as they are large and I can use the bag for more than one cup of tea throughout the day. I have had a few rip when pulling the string tight. Other than that, they are perfect. I put in the compost bin when done.
these little bags are easy to fill

these little bags are easy to fill, a good size, and the very thin cotton string is very strong. I really pulled and tied a strong knot in 20 of them so far, and they are amazingly strong. The gathering at the top of the bag, if you do it right, does not let any material escape. I think they are a good buy. I like the thin paper as the tea can really infuse out of it. I'm going to use them for my bulk tea when traveling.
Very handy and great price

Made life so easy. I make customized tea every time and now I can save my choices of tea handy and ready for use. I'm so happy with it. I made these tea bags at home and kept half at home and half at work. They are more like paper. I don't like that there is nothing at the tip of the thread. So I kept a paper clip which makes it easy to lift or dip the tea bag but for the price can't ask for more.
