Yes, I've tried other brands but always come back to the Yamaha products. Keeps my valves clean and absolutely no "Stiction".
However, It will not make a worn-out horn or an abused one operate like new. It does work quite well for my 1958 cornet, 1972 trumpet, and a brand-new flugelhorn.
