Tough lock. Someone tried to cut mine with a hacksaw, but gave up or was interrupted. Either way, thanks to this lock I still have my bike. It's very heavy. The size is just large enough that I can lock my front tire and frame to the bike racks, without extra space for pry bars. In extreme cold (under -10F), I've sometimes had difficulty turning the key, but I rarely want/need to bike in that weather anyway.

The mount might be one of the best parts of this as it lets me mount in a variety of positions just to the side of the middle of the frame. This lets me store two watter bottles in the middle and this one just on the outside between my legs and the frame. Adjustable so you can ensure it clears the pedals.

After buying my grandson a $300 bike, I checked reviews on bike locks so this bike wouldn't get stolen. These were rated the best. I bought the two sizes recommended and showed him how his bike should be locked up. These are heavy durable locks. I wouldn't say it would be impossible to cut off but it definitely wouldn't be easy or fast.

Lock works great and is the perfect size for me. It can be a little tricky getting it out of the holster that attaches to your bike, but you get used to it pretty quickly. Seems very sturdy and secure, and the bright orange color helps me locate my bike easily on campus when surrounded by many other bikes.

I wanted to clarify the size of the u-lock. The title is measuring the inside diameter of the u-lock and not including the whole outside diameter. The lock ends up being about 6.5 x 11 inches. I am considering trading in for the Kryptonite Evo Mini-7 which has an inside measurement of 7 inches. As a general rule, you want to purchase a lock with the least amount of space available, which thieves will use as leverage. They can stick a car-jack or pipe in-between the extra space and bend the lock.
