These gloves are thick and sturdy enough for heavy yard work. Also have a soft feel and comfortable to wear. Little bit of a strong smell when new, but that is lessening with each use.

The glove quality seems excellent. The leather is premium with a very nice and soft feel. I would give the gloves 5 stars for that.

It's can be difficult to get the best fit for your hands when your buying gloves without trying them on first. In this case, I personally found that the large size was just a little tight and the glove's fingers felt just a little short for me.

The only thing I didn't like about the gloves was that there is a seam that runs across the base of the middle and ring fingers of the glove (as it does in many leather gloves), and I thought that seam was a little tight against the base of my fingers. I noticed that seam more in these gloves than some other gloves. Maybe I'm just a little sensitive about that seam because I once wore some gloves that became wet, and that seam shrank. The pressure of that seam across the base of my fingers had an adverse effect on one of the nerves in my finger for a couple days. Needless to say, I stopped wearing those gloves.
