I got this for my pet but sadly had to return it even though I loved it, I thought it would be perfect to put her in for hands free walking with her at times I have to carry her while on walks, sadly it was not going to work out, you see, my pet is a duck, and she was not having any of it LOL.
I couldn't get her to stay in at all, I had thought she might like it because she likes those sorts of things, but, nope.
Sadly I'll have to look for another hands free way of carrying her, she isn't easy to carry because she likes to try climbing up onto my shoulder unless I let her feet sit on the flat of my hands, and then she still likes to try climbing me, which is hard to deal with while also having my lab and trying to control him and keep her safe if another dog is loose.
I much prefer this one but will have to look for something less of what I like and more of what she will like...
This felt like a great quality product, darn it Eclipse, don't be so picky.

Well... I got this for our very tiny (about 6 lbs), very ancient (almost 18 years old) tripod kitty, JoJo. He seemed to like it when I had it on my lap. Curled right up and started making baby-kitty-coo noises, but when I got up (slowly) and started walking around with it, he got nervous and demanded to get out. It may take some time for him to get used to it, and I'll keep trying, but I don't want to stress the poor old guy out. I might end up just using it to keep cat hair off of my clothes when we snuggle in front of the TV.

No real complaints, though - while it seems to be made for taller people (I'm very short), the material is very soft and the sling appears to be well-built. I'm just not sure JoJo will ever warm up to it for walking around.

The only reason I'm giving this two stars and not one, is because the quality of the fabric isn't too bad. Aside from that, this product was a total bust for me. I have 3 mini dachshunds and even the smallest one didn't fit comfortably. I think this product would have been good for maybe the first year while they still has their puppy bodies, but that's it. The only way he could lay down in it was If the edge of the bag was choking him.

This arrived really quickly and I'm really pleased with it! I did notice right away that the stap is not adjustable. But that isn't an issue for me at all. It's the perfect length for me to carry around my needy, disabled Persian cat. She's a rescue that is having a hard time adjusting to the other cats in my house. She wants to be glued to my side but gets anxious walking by the other cats. She recently traveled out of town with me and did extremely well. Since I travel a lot, I decided maybe I'd try this sling and we'd see if that made traveling and maybe even taking her places with me, easier.

She growled at me the first few times I put her in it. But with treats and head scratches, she stayed put. The third time I put her in it, I sat down after a few minutes and she stayed put and fell asleep. We have not left the house with it yet, but she has quickly adjusted to it and decided she likes to ride thru the house and look down on all the other cats from her ivory tower. Her confidence seems to be improving among the other cats as well.

After having such a positive experience with this carrier, our cat rescue is planning to purchase more of these for some of our disabled rescues. I bought the grey one, and haven't tried to turn it inside out and use the reverse polka dot side. I wanted an inconspicuous color for when I don't want to draw attention to the fact that I'm shopping with a cat in a baby sling. The carrier is very well made and has a detachable leash attachment.

A friend bought one of these for her dachshund pup, and I thought it was a perfect size, so after looking at other sling carriers, I was still convinced that this one would be perfect for my new dachshund puppy. He is 4.5 lbs and fits comfortably in the sling with room to grow. It isn't too deep, so my pup can stick his little head out to see were we are going, or settle inside and take a nap after a day of busy socializing. He really enjoys being in the bag. This sling is also perfect for carrying him around the house when I would not otherwise be able to keep a close eye on him. This great sling is made of super soft light material that has a little stretch, which adds to the comfort so my little pup is cradled in the sling and does not get overheated. It is also light to carry so most of the weight my should bears is my dog, not the bag. I think this bag is ideal for small puppies, dogs and cats.
