Not worth the Carhart name

I just returned an igloo max cold cooler thinking this would be better... what a disappointment. This is like a kids lunch box made in carhart colors. It in no way represents carhart's dependable quality. When you see the other reviews about people being surprised that this is a soft-sided cooler, you may do like I did and think "they didn't know what they were looking at when they bought it" "” well, now I get it. When they say this cooler is soft sided, they mean it is very soft - like you could probably wad it up in a ball! In fact, it arrived fielded up and only a few inches thick. The liner is no thicker or better than Walmart lunch bags either.
Additionally, it holds far less than the Igloo which costs less and has a more rigid form to it.
This lunch box isn't bad, but it appears to be no different than an ordinary cheap cooler bag, and is not worthy of the Carhart brand. If you want to pay a little extra for the appearance of quality (based on the brand alien) - who am I to criticize? But for our needs, this cooler bag is a big let down.

Not the best for keeping food cold

Used as a lunch box with an ice pack. Didn't keep a sandwich cold till lunch time. Typical 10hr work day. Returning. The size is nice, strap is handy, extra space on the top was nice for snacks that didn't need to be kept cold. Color was as expected & is lightweight. The exterior seems durable as well as the strap.

My husband picked this out to replace a small one he had that was on its last legs. After a week of using it he's decided it's just really to bulky for his needs. He says the top, which is in the shape of a metal lunch box, gets in the way all the time. He prefers a flat top instead.

Bought this for my son who drives a truck and works 12-15 hour days. He LOVES it!! Top section keeps phone and charger dry, lunch plus a few frozen water bottles in the bottom. Keeps his water cool enough all day - even in this hot Florida weather. And it's Carhartt....classy.

This product is better than it shows in the pictures. The lining is good quality and insulates well (make sure you remember to purchase an ice pack with this product). My fiancee constantly forgot to pack his lunch, and since I bought him this, he is proud to take his lunch to work. My family loves the carhartt brand for this reason: the quality is always up to par for a reasonable price. The top netted compartment is great for silverware or small fruits, and the front pocket we always use for napkins. No complaints!
