Blade broke whilst performing grip removal. I've since been contacted by the seller who has agreed to send a replacement blade at no expense. I've used the second hook on the blade to remove a number of grips and this one hasn't broken.
It did look like the tool would have worked well cutting the grip ...

While I cannot comment regarding the effectiveness of this tool, I am able to comment regarding the outstanding customer service that this merchant provided.
Due to a packaging mistake the bolts holding the blade in the handle were missing from the packaging. It did look like the tool would have worked well cutting the grip to remove the previous grip being replaced. I am just sorry that I had to use a utility knife especially for my graphite-shafted clubs.
I notified customer service at this retailer by email and they responded immediately making me totally satisfied with their service.
This is an outstanding retailer!
