Like others said, out of the box all 6 do not show the same temperature. However, I knew this and just moved and glued the glass so they all show the same reading. It mostly worked, it's hard to align them all exactly since the hash marks are so close together and represent 2 degrees each.

These were good value for my daughter's science fair project. We calibrated them to room temperature and wrote whatever we had to +/- from the reading on each thermometer, it was close enough for what we needed. The thermometers are mounted slightly higher and lower within the case, with readings giving about +/- 2 at most. We bought 24 thermometers. I would not use these if you needed measurements more exact than rounding to the half degree. We read any number that was between lines with .5.
