perfect baguette length
Thin, flimsy & not well finished for a wood kitchen item

We have a lovely pizza peel. The wood is smooth/well finished & substantial - thick without being too thick or heavy. We expected this baguette peel to be the same. It's not. It's very, very thin & flimsy, and it's not finished well - it feels like it could produce splinters when you run your hands over it. There's just nothing nice about it. Normally when you purchase some wood item for the kitchen you "ohh" and "ahh" over it. Not this. This is so "Meh". We have other Saint Germain products and expected this to be better quality than it is. Disappointing.

Wonderful product! Got it for my mom who loves baking bread. One caveat is that they put the sticker onto the wood itself which made us spend a couple hours gently peeling the sticker and glue residue off. (Gentle heat from a hair dryer and gentle scrubbing with a soft cloth with some rubbing alcohol will get it off but be careful not to damage the wood.)
