My personal experience is that this works great! We do treat our yard regularly as well but our terrier loves the dog park which is in a wooded area known for fleas and ticks. We haven't found a single one on him and he doesn't have reactions to this despite his sensitive skin. In some areas the fleas might be resistant but we live in the deep south and this is still working for us.

I had tried the Activate II Flea and Tick Collar and it didn't work for my Yorkie. She had been infested after we visited a neighbor who had recently rehomed her dog. My poor dog was scratching herself raw. I was hesitant to try these drops, but figured I would give it a shot. Within a few hours of applying the product the fleas were falling off my Yorkie, dead and dying. Over the next few days, I found dead fleas here and there. Now, 2 weeks from application I see one or two dead fleas now and then and my girl seldom is scratching. I was a bit leery about using this because of the ingredients, but my girl has had no adverse reactions or effects, and we are well satisfied with the product.
