I tend to run a bit on the dry side most of the time (it's extremely hot and dry here), and drinking just water doesn't do the job. Plus the more water you drink, the more problems you have keeping your electrolytes up.

I've used liquid IV once a day before, and that does the job. But its expensive.

This is less than half the price, as of this writing.

And I had to check the ingredients twice to make sure it didn't have caffeine or an 'energy' component, because I feel freaking fantastic after drinking just one.

Just don't overdo it. I'm surprised there isn't a "by doctors advice" on it though, but I may have missed it? Look up what happens if you consume too much of some electrolytes. Pretty bad stuff. You normally get enough from a well balanced diet, but I don't. So don't drink 3-4 a day thinking that more is better. There's a LOT of electrolyte content in this. More than most products I've seen, and by a long shot.

The usual electrolyte drinks seem to top out at 4% potassium, and don't have any of the many others that this includes. This has 10% potassium, and a ton of others. I see that amazon isn't showing the nutrition label for the orange/glucosamine one that I like. 30% magnesium, 30% phosphorus and 30% manganese. Too much of these can give you some kidney issues, as they'll try to remove the excess.

Based on the way it helps make me feel great, and the price, I'll stick with this brand for a while. It was around 10 bucks for 18 sticks.

Helpful if your always busy I'm a waitress and I can tell the difference when I do and don't use these the next day I wake up when I do drink these my body doesn't feel so achy

My MD recommended this for replenishing electrolytes; I could not find it in stores and had to order it. It is salty tasting, but has no artificial flavors, colors , or preservatives. I like that and it overrides the saltiness.

My husband has diabetes insipidus (water diabetes) from a brain injury. Not to be confused with diabetes mellitus which is much too common. His electrolytes were severely depleted while we were returning home after a trip to Mexico ( long story) and he was unable to stand. There's a medical name for this which I'll have to look up"¦hypokalemia! As an emergency measure I gave him six "¦seven"¦packs of Emergen -C Hydration until I could get medical help. I hope no one ever finds themselves in this situation but if you have diabetes insipidus I recommend keeping a box of Emergen-C with you in case of an emergency especially if you travel where there is not always easy access to health care. Disclaimer: This is not medical advice but it did save my husbands life.
