Ballpoint pen keeps working. I'm a lefty.

The pen of this set is working well. It is nice to have a mechanical pencil around too.
I have had trouble with ballpoint pens not continuing to dispense ink mid-signature for instance, needing constantly to be scribbled back to life. I don't know if their quality is not there anymore, or rare use due to computers is to blame, but it was getting increasingly hard to write a check for instance with the big brand pens I had around. At least with this pen new, it has taken that problem away.
If you are looking specifically for an ergonomic pen or pencil, these are just normal ones--no complaints but there are softer ones out there. Here is a stopgap hint. if your finger is tired from holding a pen or pencil, try putting the pen or pencil between your first and second fingers and hold with your thumb. This keeps the shaft from pressing on the knucklebone.
