- •FIX THE SEALING: If your FoodSaver is having a difficult time sealing bags, the heating element tape is probably just worn out and needs to be replaced. However this will not fix a heating element that is not working at all. See product description for more details.
- •INCLUDES: 4 Foam Gaskets & 2 Pieces of Replacement Teflon Tape with Adhesive Backing. If you have 1 Foam and 1 Rubber Gasket, only replace your FOAM gasket. Don't remove the rubber gasket. Gave new life to my old FoodSaver.

I have an old FoodSaver V2220 that was barely functional and I was considering selling it at the next garage sale. Gave this a shot and now it works like new. Instructions were easy to follow, the heat strip cover was plenty long and fit smoothly over the heating element, and I still have enough for another replacement.

I have a FoodSaver 550 that I installed new seals and Teflon tape for the heat strip. The FoodSaver is approximately 20 years old but I had noticed that it was leaving some air in the bags. So I went ahead and ordered your repair kit and installed it in a few minutes. The machine is back in order now. Works just like it was new. Saved me the money from buying a new one.

I have had my food saver for a number of years. It was having issue removing air from the bag. I read on the internet that was because the foam seals were getting hard. One solution was to oil them. I did that for a year and it helped. But this kit was a better idea as it was easy to install and did not cost much. My food sealer is working like new now!

The old machine pump, etc worked great but the seals were shot. Bought this kit and after a quick clean up I installed the replacement parts in about two minutes. Worked great! a little stiff at first but that went away after several sealing cycles.
Tured my FoodSaver into a new machine!
