It was fresh and soft. I was afraid it would be old or hard but it was so good. Will order again.

I specifically loved this jerky most because it was soft. I hate tearing through leather jerky and there are thousands of those already on the market to choose from. This jerky was always soft, and had amazing flavor. That has changed. My last dozen or so packs have been hard and dry. It is not longer my preferred jerky and I am sad about that. Perky Jerky is now my go to as it is soft. 5/2022 update. The company reached out and handled customer satisfaction impressively. So I tried another batch and indeed, this time it was the jerky I fell in love with. I had gotten a dried out batch but they took care of it and are in fact still making the best jerky. I'm so happy about that as it's my favorite. Even better than the jerky though was them making me believe they cared. Updated to 5 stars and back to telling everyone to buy it!

Jerky is a little too mushy for me. it's tastes fine otherwise.

This jerky product has been my favorite jerky for years now. It combines two of my favored food tastes...Pork Jerky...and Cherry BBQ flavoring...Krave has developed a great balance of both tastes that I honestly would not want to be changed. The pork tends to be on the softer chewy side, not the stringy, rock-hard pieces that beef sometimes tends to dry into and can also be too bitter for me. The pork and cherry flavors work towards a milder, sweeter flavor profile that I prefer. While I rarely finish packages of most beef jerky, I always eat all of this Krave Pork Cherry BBQ, the portion size is filling enough that I am satisfied when I finish off the crumbs. As I wrote in the title, this is the best meat jerky flavor yet!
