I have been working on an extensive make over on my lake property. Renting a compactor was expensive, almost a hundred dollars a pop. plus pick up and delivery. I was only half way through the project and I found this item at amazon,com. I assemble the item in less than an hour and took it out for a test spin. Exactly what I needed. Quality is exceptional, little vibration in the control handle. Quiet operation for a compactor. I am saving money over a rental and will have it standing by for repair chores.
Be aware, read the directions carefully. The unit comes with a can of engine oil, just enough to fill the crankcase. But it is hard to find that statement in the directions. The other unit is filled at the factory according to a sticker on the machine. If you are one of those guys that don't read the directions you may mess up the engine. Other wise a pleasant surprise in quality and delivery time. I highly recommend this unit for someone who is a do it yourself kind of guy!

so far unit works , thought it would compact a little better but I have nothing to compare against to know for sure Assembled handle and wheels and filled with supplied oil

The Amazon WEB site, stated a "Stamping Pad Included" in the grey box on the right labeled "What's Included". But it turns out that may not be true. Disappointed here as this was in my cost, feature comparison list. And it appears I may have to buy it. Not good. Kind of upsetting as it moved the true cost of the unit above a couple other units.

The WEB site should be updated! I made a jpeg copy of it and may try to get a stamping pad. I need it.

The product goes together fast. Very easy. Be careful with the wheel attachment. The cover of the manual and page three show them backwards. But the instruction section is correct. I was scratching my head for a second. But quick and easy to fix.

The wheels are a lifesaver and one of the reasons I went with this unit. I've rented before and have needed two guys to move the renal unit around. The wheels make it so easy

I worry about the gas cap getting smooshed by the handle when you fold it up. Just have to remember to be careful.

Need to go buy some oil and try it out now.

This unit performed as designed. It requires a little assembly of handles and wheels but it didn't take much time and instructions were clear. It started with no issues. Compacted about 400sf patio and had no hiccups. It is a surprisingly powerful compactor. I used for two day it worth it when I compared the price of the unit to renting from Home Depot (I would had to pay almost price of the compactor, but I get to keep it). Definitely worth to buy.
