We moved from Texas to Minnesota and this tank was absolutely perfect for transporting a school of small fish. I thought for sure we'd lose most of them, but every single fish survived the three day trip. The lid has clasps that keep the water tight lid closed tightly. A fitted hole in the top for the air tube bubbled occasionally, but really a non-factor. I originally purchased a soft sided fish cooler/tank, and I'm so thankful that I found this hard side tank instead. The soft sided tank would have spilled without a doubt.
