As much as I love my Big Green Egg, they kind of dropped the ball on the screen. This fits perfectly and breathes really well. It seems much better than the original or my first replacement I got from the "Hatchery" (it's any place that sells BGE and replacement parts)

Fits perfect on my Large BGE... much better and smoother than the original mesh wire screen. It will also work on my Kamado Joe classic with some careful trimming on the length... I tested it out with my old BGE screen. I'll be ordering another one for that purpose soon... wish they made one specifically for it tho.

Well made product which replaced my original BGE mesh after I damage the screen. Installation was easy to accomplish, and only took a few minutes.
I have had an occasion when a slammed open the cover and had it jump track with the mesh panel, but the quality of this replacement is superior to the original. I wondered if the air flow would be good, which I am happy to report that airflow is very good.

Excellent replacement for the stock Big Green Egg screen. The original one that came on the egg lasted a few years, but it is quite fragile. This one will last a life time because it has no thin mesh screen to wear out. The fit is perfect for the Large Big Green Egg, and the quality if the panel is beyond reproach. It slides right into place, it doesn't have any sharp edges or other manufacturing defects. This is a high quality replacement that is superior to the original, and it is at a very fair price.

This product seems to be high quality. The vent is certainly more durable than the mesh screen on the original. Easy to remove the old one and slide on new one. I had to twist the egg on the base to get the base "prongs" out of the way, but just pull the old one over the metal clip holding it in place (doesn't matter if you tear the screen, since you're replacing it) and new one slides right over that.
