It doesn't stay on that well as piece was kind of busted but didn't send it back as needed something at the time to help with hard as a brick toilet seat. Now have new cushiony seat and this might add a nice touch, just seems to be slipping off a bit.

The SO complained about the seat being too hard so I had to replace it with a vinyl seat with cushion. Having grown up with them, I hate them when they crack/rip and stick to your skin. This made a world of difference to the point I didn't mind the vinyl anymore.

I recently moved to Illinois and it is snowing already. With zero and below temperature, I wanted a toilet seat cover, which wouldn't make me want to scream in the morning in an unheated bathroom (I didn't care how often I needed to wash it).
After a lot of research in Amazon, I decided to go with this one, and I'm glad that I did. The direction on the cover is a bit hard to understand and as said in the other reviews pictures don't help either. So I kept them aside and went with intuition and it took 2-3 minutes to figure it out. Once done, it looks nice and most importantly, feels soft and warm (no more shivering, yay!!).
I've had it for only a day, so not sure if it slides, but the hooks seem okay and looks like it's going to stay put.

Take a pass on this item for the following reasons:
(1) Does not fit on elongated seat, the rigid support loop is too short, it unsnaps and cannot be refastened so you end up jerryrigging with safety pins...and if one of those pins pops loose...OUCH!
(2) Even though it feels cozy to the tush you just get the feeling the whole thing is going to start stinking pretty quickly and not be very sanitary. I couldn't imagine a guest feeling happy about sitting on it...echhhh!

I got this for the opposite reason it's sold - I live in Houston, and sitting on a regular toilet seat with sweaty thighs is not pleasant. This thing is a LIFESAVER. Not only does it fit well, is easy to use, and is very comfy - it also muffles the noise of the flush if you have the lid down, which is nice when I'm up in the middle of the night. Just be careful when you wash it; I put it in a delicates bag and wash it in that cycle. If you don't keep it cold-cold-cold in washer and dryer then it'll shrink up on you (although, when I was more careful washing it the second time, the elasticity came back).
