These are exactly the kind you see everyone using on youtube! It's exactly as the picture describes, good quality and good price. If you're using this for your hair the trick is to HOLD the latch closed as you put it in your braid. :)
Plastic handles are a downside

These came quickly and I got them to maintain my dreadlocks. I could only use the one with the wooden handle because all the other ones snagged on my hair and just pulled. The thin plastic handles are definitely a downside but I got what I paid for and the one wooden handle hook was workable.
Worth the money for all the different sizes.

The wooden handle bent latch is the most sturdy of the 5, it's meant for larger items such as wool rugs. The different sizes is a real plus, you can judge which one to use on clothing to stocking hats. As pictured they are plastic. When I used the large one on my wool rug, I had to manually close the latch. Really not a big deal

I am going to love trying out theses various sized latch hooks. Even the tiniest one has a latch hook. I imagine many crafts could be done with these latch hooks, from rugs to wigs; a different kind of rug, lol. A couple of them were showing signs of rust, thus the 4 rating. I am hoping the rust has no bearing on how smooth they handle when they are used to pull material through the loops of string or fabric. the two pinks ones look similar but the size of the needles are different with one being thicker and more substantial than the other one. The wooden one is the most substantial one of all; probably best used for sturdy materials. There was a note included from the seller, thanking any purchaser for buying with them, nice touch.
Larger 3 hooks are great!

Perfect for adding finishing touches to crocheted dolls. The smallest hooks are pretty flimsy, but I needed the larger ones anyway.
