I love it! Lego is coming out with retro builds, Lego builds that look at feel like the Legos from years ago. It's great to have Lego sets that aren't gray, that aren't from the Empire. The Lego looks and feels like the Clone Wars series of Legos from around 2010. At $25, this is about as good of a Lego buy as you can get new. I hope that this is just the beginning of bringing ships and characters from older movies and cartoons to life.
The build itself is pretty quick and easy, not too complicated, so that my 6 year old could follow the instructions without much assistance from start to finish. The Twi'lek Jedi figurine Aayla Secura is unique a just plain cool...way cool for Star Wars nerds. My daughter loves trivia and of course recreated the order 66 scene where Aayla is shot by the clone troopers.
The fighter tank itself is very durable and fun for kids to play with since it isn't constantly falling apart even with vigorous play.

This is the first of my Lego kits that is inspired mainly from the Star Wars Clone Wars shows and video games. The kit is an example of a TX-130 Saber Class Fighting tank. It is a fun and quick build and also includes a clone trooper, Aayla Secura, and two battle droids. I enjoyed assembling the tank which is almost all of the 305 piece toy. The kit is not too complicated and can easily be assembled in a single sitting.
In addition to the two gins and four mini-figures, I like that the designers added small wheels to the bottom of the tank, so it looks like it is hovering, but in fact is movable for play.

I always feel a bit guilty for giving LEGO kits five stars (except for one kit about 4 years ago) but let's face it, no one does as good a job at design, material quality, directions and playability as they do. LEGO definitely rules of the toy kingdom. This Republic Fighter Tank is smaller than the original version but still still an excellent build.
PROS:
Comes with four minifigures 2 are excellent and 2 are standard bots.
Excellent color scheme especially with the lime green accents.
Very sturdy when completed.
Two gun turrets with stud shooters.
Guns can shoot in front and behind the tank via rotation.
Storage compartment in rear of tank for studs.
Figure can sit inside the tank with hatch closed or stand with head out.
Four small hidden wheels so tank rolls but looks like it's floating.
Wrench attached for pretend tank repairs.
Figures come with lightsaber and three firearms.
Excellent price for a kit with this many pieces.
Outstanding directions as usual.
