I was really excited when these came in the mail
but unfortunately these did not work for me. I was surprised since most of the reviews were positive as people were racing on how great these work and the excellent results they had, especially that they had a soft sweet some what fruity scent to them! I did place them in front of my window for several hours where there was some sun shining as well as allowing them to soak for an hour in water prior to washing the first load with them. After drying that and before putting the second load in the drier, I did the sniff test and found the clothes not to smell fresh and caused me to rewash everything and once again with the washer balls but also with a half of a laundry detergent pod. I then proceeded to the next load which were my towels and again, those didn't smell clean either so I again had to rewash them with the other half of the laundry detergent pod. I did contact the seller regarding this, which not only did they respond very quickly but they also resolved me issue and is the reason I am giving this 3 stars rather than 1 because I feel that those stars are over all based on everything from customer service, down to the product itself.

Beron Balls are the best mechanism to get stains, dirt and odors out of clothes, towels, sheets, tablecloths and napkins and especially gym socks. When I bought my balls I also got the Lavender oil and Woolsey dryer balls. I have yet to use the lavender. I like the fresh smell. Best of all is how the Beron balls clean everything. I do not spot anything or presoak. I had a pair of brown jeans that had two large tablespoons of mayo spotted on them. They left two large grease stains. I tried everything to get them out, but failed. So II tossed the ruined jeans in with my regular load with the Beron balls. When I took the jeans out: the stains were ALL Gone. Awsome!

So worth the buy! 1st load of whites I washed just normally and fought with dinginess even with oxiclean or bleach. FIRST TIME I washed my whites with ththe laundry balls they were significantly brighter!!! Amazing! All clothes are clean and brighter than with my homemade detergent that beat out tide for years. ( ran out of my homemade detergent and went back to tide for a week before the laundry balls... mistake! Had to wash clothes several times and they were still dingy!
LOVE LOVE LOVE these and I am picky!

They seem to clean pretty well though I do still pre-treat stains with diluted Dawn dish liquid. My towels came out super soft even though I didn't use any fabric softener. Everything smells really clean, too. The only problem I've had is tiny hard granules have been coming out of the laundry when I take it out of the washer. They fall out when I shake the balls, too. They are all over my laundry room floor now. I have no idea what they are. Perhaps I got defective ones, I don't know. They do clean the laundry as well as my homemade detergent did (and it worked better than store bought) but they are making a big mess on my floor.

I have been using these amazing balls since the end on July exclusively!! And I love them! I have even challenged them in a HUGE way! Stinky dish rags come out fresh and clean (I don't use anything in my dryer or my washer...just the balls and water) I breed Giant Schnoodles so I can have some very stinky bedding..all comes out clean. Even grease spots have come out! There are more expensive ones out there but why spend more when these work great! Would buy again if I needed to! I am saving $$$, I am saving my family from the toxic chemicals that are in soaps, and I am saving the planet! Win/win/win!
