So far so good! I'm the furthest from a tech savy phone person so i was thankful this was super easy set up. I have an older car that does not have an aux port OR a cassette player so this was basically my only option for streaming music from my phone. This is small and out of the way which is great because no cords to get tangled...great sound and very little interferance or dropping of signal. I am definitely happy with purchase and would recommend to anyone in a similar situation with limited audio options in their car

Seriously awesome product for the money. Bluetooth pairing, microSD slot, 2 USB ports and FM/aux output make it very versatile. Certain service resets and other functions on my late-model Impala are difficult to access (if at all) without the factory AM/FM cassette. This is great for situations where upgrading existing units are not feasible/allowed, and easier if you drive multiple vehicles where Bluetooth pairing for different vehicles is cumbersome. Far better sound quality than expected, even on FM, little to no static. Blows my previous SD-cassette adapter OUT OF THE WATER. Far better product, about the same price. Its flaws are solvable with minor revisions.

Device volume is set by with a press/hold of track up/down. However, volume adjustment advances too quickly and goes lower or higher than desired. Revision is needed here, and a beep at each increase/decrease would allow adjustment without diverting attention from the road. Most MP3 devices can restart a track by pressing the track down button, and this one does so when streaming Bluetooth, but when using the microSD card slot or the USB port, it simply skips the track, starting another. Instead you must enter direct track access, then cycle mode button, returning to the mode in which desired track was playing. It works, but is cumbersome. In the interest of safety and ease of use, revision is needed here, as this product is obviously designed for use in vehicles.

Provisions for a remote would greatly improve direct track access, which would also improve safety. Gooseneck adjustment range is decent, but doesn't lend itself to all situations. Allowing the key/display head to rotate 180 degrees would work wonders with certain vehicles. Hands-free call sound quality is hit-and-miss, the only gripe I have with it. It DOES work, but I highly recommend relegating call audio to a standalone earpiece/headset. Not a big deal as most smartphones can stream media audio and call audio to separate devices.

An added benefit to the Bluetooth pairing is that when streaming from your phone, music is paused when a call is received. No more missed calls! Overall, a great product for the money. It's not perfect, otherwise I would have given it 5 stars instead of 4. But it really wouldn't take much to get it there.

This item was much smaller than I anticipated but that is a good thing for me. It fits nicely in the car and is fairly inconspicuous. The set up was basically plug and play. I just had to find an FM station that was fuzzy and then set the transmitter to the same frequency. I then connected my phone through Bluetooth and we were off! The whole process took like 90 seconds. There is a slight static sound in the background of the music and the little manual says that it is impossible to remove that through Bluetooth but that you can connect more directly through the wires provided into the Aux port of the car but I don't have that. The static isn't so noticeable for me that it turns me off though. It kind of sounds like the old cassette tapes used to. All that said, the benefit of being able to use Bluetooth in my car for this price point is excellent. Otherwise you can spend a couple hundred bucks on a full stereo system. For now I will chose this.

This item started out good. Connected great and moved thru the frequency channels pretty good. Then the drive started, and my Bluetooth pairing kept disconnecting. For a 3 hour drive, this became pretty annoying. I'm using an iPhone 6S Plus with the 11.2 IOS, and kept loosing my connection. While driving on the interstate this became both dangerous and annoying to have to re-connect every 20-50 minutes. The longest time range was almost an hour and a half. I use the Uconnect in one vehicle and my Bluetooth connection on my Sony deck unit in another vehicle with no problems. This was a need for a vehicle that did not have any sort of input or bluetooth connection and was good while it started, but ended up as a disappointment.

Such a great product! I love how it has an extra usb port to charge my phone & a usb port at the bottom of the transmitter to plug in an usb with songs I have downloaded from my computer!!! The big display is nice and clear to see what songs or folders you are playing. I love that it is bluetooth so I don't have to use an auxillary cord that looks messy in the car with wires hanging everywhere. But, for people that DO like those wires, it does come with an auxillary cord in the box just in case you want to physically hook up to your car stereo. I recommend this for anyone who wants a hands-free solution for phone calls & playing great music!!!
