Beautiful and Tough

My daily devotional life has improved thanks to this excellent Rosary...I have been in the habit of carrying a Rosary in my pocket for over a decade, but typical, more cheaply made designs tend to knot up or separate when carried in one's pocket, making using it to pray the Holy Rosary much more difficult. This Rugged Rosary is based upon the design originally issued by the U.S. military to soldiers and sailors in W.W. I, constructed out of the same design of pull-chain material used to hold a military member's dog tags. So it can take quite alot of abuse without twisting or breaking, and this particular model, in a bright silver finish, is particularly inviting to me. I know pray the Holy Rosary daily, in no small part thanks to this beautiful sacramental. Our Lady, Queen of the Rosary, pray for us!

EDIT: May 16, 2020: The new Pardon Crucifix is cute...and I wanted to order another one of these rosaries so I can keep on myself and another one with my Our Lady of Guadalupe figurine holder. Still can't decide which one to display with Mary...but I'll update this review later on.
Original Review from 2019: The rosary came just as described yesterday! What really makes it a stunning piece though is the Pardon Crucifix.
Perhaps I was misled by the fact that the crucifix was enlarged in photos featured on Amazon and the Rugged Rosaries website; it was a lot smaller than I had initially anticipated. But this is a small matter when describing both the strength and beauty of the rosary overall. I've already kissed Christ several times just to make sure I'll be granted several indulgences. The Mary Medallion is beautiful too! #SalveRegina

This rosary is exactly as depicted/described and arrived very quickly! The workmanship on the entire product is high quality and I have high hopes that it will end my sad string of broken rosaries in my pocket.
The detail on both the crucifix and the medal are exquisite and there are no right edges on any of the beads. Each bead spins freely in its place "” something I enjoy doing while praying my way through them. The 4 split ring connectors are 1/4" each and extremely unlikely to deform as the soft metal loops on my other rosaries have in the past.
I have only had this rosary for a day but have used it many times already. If you are looking (as I have been) for a rosary you can keep in your pocket with you everywhere without concern of tangling or breakage this certainly seems to fit the bill!

My sister showed me her copy of the WWI Battle Beads a few months ago and I have been thinking about how much I liked them so decided to search online to find one that closely resembled them. I gave this one a shot and I am extremely happy. I bought 4, one for me and 3 for co-workers who are strong Catholics presented the Battle Beads to them today and everyone of them loved it.
I bought these for my car as I know they will last a long time compared to the delicate one I had been using.
Not only the rosary is well made, it comes inside of a tin case which is inside a leather like case, may be real leather or just material that resembles but it is a great touch. If you want battle beads and can live it a replica then these would be a good choice.
